How to generate a signature made by Computerman

Overview

If your organisation has an email signature template designed by Computerman which generates from the server. Follow this guide on how to generate the signature. To apply the signature you can follow this guide.

Outlook on Windows

Step 1: Create a new email

Navigate to Outlook and create a new email by selecting the New Email button from the top left

Step 2: Send an email to yourself

When the new email menu appears put some text in the body of the email and set it to bold, then address it to yourself and add a subject:

Now click send.

Step 3: Wait for the generated email signature

When the email signature comes in your inbox. open the email:

You will now notice the email with the email signature generated in the body. You can use this add to your signatures menu:

If there is any detail missing such as a mobile number, you can add it manually now or remove the line item to clean up the signature. Next, select the entire signature (Ctrl + A) and copy (Ctrl + C). With the new signature copied, compose a new email, then select Signature button from the top menu and select Signatures.

In the new signature menu, select New then enter a name for the signature and select OK. In the edit signature portion of the menu paste your new signature (Ctrl +V). Set the new signature as the default for New messages and Replies/Forwards

Then press ok.

Outlook on your mobile phone

To replicate the signature on your mobile phone. Open the Outlook application on your phone, and copy the signature as instructed above. Select the menu from the top left of your screen, then the cog icon from the bottom left to open settings. In the settings menu, scroll down until you see the Email section and select signature. Here you can paste your new signature to use on mobiles.
